SHP is delighted to announce the appointment of Julia Frost as an Associate Director in the Edinburgh office.  Julia is a Chartered Town Planner with 23 years’ experience in the public, private and third sectors, both in the UK and in South Africa. She was previously a Director at a national consultancy and Operations Manager at Planning Aid Scotland where she provided strategic advice across all of its activities in Scotland.  Julia was Convenor of RTPI Scotland in 2019 and currently Chairs RTPI Scotland’s International Group.  She sits on the Scottish Government ‘Community Engagement’ working group to help shape the legislative framework around the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019, and is a trained community engagement facilitator and mediator.

SHP welcomes Julia at a time of significant business expansion in all of the sectors in which it operates across the UK.  New instructions have been secured in mixed use, student accommodation and build to rent projects in Edinburgh and Dundee; large-scale regeneration and major residential projects in Fife and Angus; distillery projects in the Highlands; major city centre residential-led developments in Ipswich and Kensington; and town centre retail-led mixed use developments in Ireland.
