Scott Hobbs Planning (SHP) successfully gained a Certificate of Lawful Proposed Use at Market Street, Manchester on behalf of Clydesdale Bank PLC. The proposal sought permission for a change of use from a Class A1 Retail unit into a Class A2 Financial Services and was submitted in February 2018. The proposal was deemed lawful by Manchester City Council and was the Certificate of Lawful Use was issued in March 2018. An application for Planning Permission for alterations to the unit was then made in April 2018, including a design access and heritage statement. The application was then approved by Manchester City Council in July 2018.
